Summer Dynamic Duo: Progress Report

So far, I have started to work on my "heart" theme with the continued theme of freedom. I decided to use the medium of ink on paper with the method of stippling to create this piece. While I didn't utilize this medium in my fantastic four, I am very intrigued by it and therefore have decided to explore it. This relates to freedom as well as contrasts it in an interesting way as stippling is a very precise form of art. In my process I have begun to experiment with stippling to get used to it before attempting to add it to my final piece. I am aspiring to create a piece relating to freedom from oppression depicting a child's crying face and its features, as both my fantastic four heart projects depicted people. While my work is not near finished, I have taken the time to understand both my medium and theme which will help me to create a finalized work of art.
