Helena Hauss is a Paris-based artist who makes beautiful sculptures. Her sculptures combine porcelain designs with weaponry to showcase feminism and empowerment. The series of sculptures below is titled "Hell Hath No Fury", including an axe, spiked bat, grenade, and flail. Helena has a power quote talking about women saying, “Contrary to what you might think, we’re not made of glass, porcelain, or crystal. We’re not gonna break, we’re wearing full metal jackets, and we’re ready to fight back.”.

Each one of these pieces are seemingly crafted very carefully to achieve the porcelain's design and effect. The idea of combining weaponry and porcelain to portray aspects of women is pretty cool. The strength of an unbreakable object combined with the beauty of one that is so fragile is such a interesting juxtaposition, yet it's message of empowerment and feminism are powerfully relayed simply through looking at these pieces. My favorite of the four is probably the grenade because the detail on it is amazing as well as it looks super realistic, which I also love!
