Abstract Painting Process Post

The photos below represent my progress with my abstract painting, with the first image being where I started and the last being where I am currently. At first I started with a basic color background, still using methods of scumbling and painting with my whole arm. In the second picture, I started to add other colors and create a form of movement through lines and other methods. In the third picture (or my current progress) I added in a lighter color (yellow) to balance out the dark that was over the majority of my painting. I also started to fill in some blanks with much needed shapes to get rid of just utilizing lines, which made my painting much more interesting. I also started to fill up the canvas a little more, covering a bit more of the edges to really define the work.
